J-Kems microprocessor based temperature controller. A patented 8-bit computer adjusts power to the heater 2048 times per second permitting accurate control on small scale reactions. The Model 250 has 3 power outlets for maximum versatility in research. Two of the outlets are used for heating up to 1800 watts. The third outlet (360 watts), used normally for cooling, is programmable to provide power below, above or at the entered temperature. The third outlet can be used to turn on an alarm for an over or under temperature condition. Controller has the ability to display temperature without heating. The Model 250 controls temperature to within 0.1°C of liquids for 1ml to 5 liters. Available with a choice of Type 'T' or Type 'J' thermocouple.
